Why Clients in Kenya Choose BAFA for Engineering and Fabrication

One workshop for cutting, machining, welding and finishing, quotes that explain themselves, and work you can inspect before you commit.

Choosing a fabrication partner is really a decision about risk. Will the part fit? Will it arrive when you were promised? Will someone pick up the phone when something needs adjusting? At BAFA Tents & Engineering we built the workshop around those three questions, because they are the ones that cost our clients money when the answer is wrong.

One workshop, from cut to finish

Most delays in Kenyan fabrication happen between workshops. A plate is cut in one yard, folded in another, machined somewhere else and welded by a third team, and every handover adds days plus a chance for the dimensions to drift. We keep CNC plasma cutting, CNC milling, lathe work, press and sheet metal bending, welding and finishing under one roof. That means one team owns your job from drawing to delivery, and one person can tell you exactly where it is.

What that changes for you

  • Shorter lead times because parts do not queue in three different yards.
  • Fewer fit-up problems because the person welding can talk to the person who cut.
  • One point of accountability if something needs correcting.

Quotes that answer the real question

A quote is not just a number. It should tell you what is included, what material grade and thickness is assumed, whether finishing and delivery are covered, and when the work will be ready. Send a drawing, a sketch, a photo or even measurements written on a phone note through our quote form and you get a written breakdown you can compare and approve. If a cheaper option exists - a thinner section, a simpler pattern, a standard size instead of a custom one - we say so, because a client who trusts the advice comes back.

Work you can inspect before you commit

Everything on this site is our own work, photographed in our own workshop. Look through completed projects - gates, grilles, balustrades, canopies, machined components, event structures - and judge the welds, the edges and the finishes yourself. For similar detail on specific processes, read how our CNC plasma cutting works or what custom fabrication in Kisii involves.

Engineering and events from the same team

BAFA is unusual in serving both sides of a project. We fabricate the steel, and we also hire out tents and chairs and manufacture tents. For a school, church, county office or company running an event on a site we also built, that is one supplier, one invoice and one crew who already know the ground.

Buy designs, not just parts

If you have your own machine, our online shop sells production-ready DXF, DWG and STL files you can download immediately and cut today - see the guide to buying CNC-ready designs.

Track it, do not chase it

Every order and quote request gets a reference you can follow on our tracking page, plus SMS updates as the status changes. You should never have to phone a workshop to find out whether work has started.
